Harper Collins Does Something!

arwedda-fish-god_cult

So, I was gonna do a post on the Horrors of Writer’s Block, but I couldn’t think of anything to write. (Ha!) Instead, I will share some news about Harper Collins merging it’s scifi/fantasy/horror imprint (because horror always comes last in that lineup, Grr!) from Harper Eos to Harper Voyager.

What this means to the publishing world is that the US branch of Harper Collins’ genre line is now rebranded to merge with the UK and Australian genre line. What this means to us, is we still need an agent to submit to them. But, get an agent and sign on with them and voila—your book is now marketed globally as opposed to just nationally. Whee, funtimes!

Also, as I do not have a Horror of Writer’s Block post today, I am sending you this drawing I did of the Horror Writer’s Block Spider instead. I value the drawing at one Horrors of Horror Writing post, so trust that this settles the matter.

If you think I’ve lost my mind, please refer to this old joke of David Thorne’s. Otherwise, regularly scheduled programming to commence next week.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

  1. I laughed. Do the illustrations for my books, please?

  2. I, sir, am an Illustrative whore, and I shall doodle whatever you require. (Of course, you must expect it to be amateurish and crude.)
